SXSW Photowalk!

Lissette at SXSW

The energy in downtown Austin is amazing during SXSW, which is one reason why my friend Alex Saurez organized a photowalk this past Friday night, complete with a couple of models for us to shoot. Friday night was the first night of SXSW, and the crowds downtown were huge, which made for a crazy-fun photo shoot.

This photo is of Lissette, and local Austin model. I shot it at the end of the night while we walked her to her car. The light was from a single flash shot into a 43" umbrella about 7 feet from her. I had a friend, Andy, hold the light behind her, so the side of her face closest to me would go all dark dramatic.
